Home care is almost always chosen by an adult child under pressure, often after a hospital discharge, with days rather than weeks to decide. They are looking for regulatory standing, real staff and evidence of reliability, and they are frightened of getting it wrong.

Operationally it is a rota problem with legal weight. Visits have times, staff have qualifications, and a missed visit is a safeguarding matter rather than an inconvenience. Most providers run this on a system that cannot prove what happened.

The search side is not separate from that. "Home care" and "care at home" plus a town, searched by a family member rather than the client. Ranking for those means the pages exist, the business is verified where it operates, and the reviews are real and recent.

How a care package moves through a home care provider

From the family's first call to the hundredth visit, every step needs a record someone can trust.

  1. Family enquiry

It stalls when an enquiry made on Friday is answered on Monday, and it moves when every enquiry reaches a named person the same day.

  2. Assessment and care plan

It stalls when the plan is written on paper and typed up later, and it moves when it is captured once and shared with every carer who needs it.

  3. Visits on the rota

It stalls when a carer is off sick and gaps are found by phone, and it moves when the rota shows uncovered visits the moment they appear.

  4. Records and invoicing

It stalls when invoices are rebuilt from timesheets at month end, and it moves when recorded visits become the invoice and the evidence.

What people in this trade ask us

What convinces a family?
Regulatory standing, named staff and specifics about what a visit includes. Warm language about compassion is what every competitor also says.
Can carers record visits from a phone?
Yes, at the door, including what was done. That record is your evidence and it is worth far more than a timesheet.
How fast do we need to reply?
Same day, always. Hospital discharge decisions are made in days and the provider who answers first is usually the one chosen.
Can families see what happened on each visit?
A family portal can show visit times and notes you choose to share, with the client's consent. It reduces worried calls to the office and shows the care actually happened.
What if a carer has no signal at the door?
The visit is recorded on the phone and sent when the signal returns. A system that needs a live connection fails in exactly the rural areas where care is hardest to staff.

The infrastructure under it

Backup & Recovery

Visit records are the evidence in a safeguarding review or inspection, and must be retrievable years later.

Cyber Security

Client records, medication notes and door codes on carers' phones are among the most sensitive data a small business holds.

What one contract covers

  • One contract. The build, the infrastructure and the work that brings people to it, on one invoice.
  • A named team. The person on the first call stays on the project. No account managers, no handoffs.
  • Operated, not delivered. We keep it running after launch: patching, backups, monitoring and the phone when it breaks.
  • European hosting. Servers in Europe, run by us, with the data staying where you expect it to.
  • Monthly reporting. What changed, what it cost and what it produced, in language you can forward to a board.
  • No lock-in. The code, the domains and the accounts are yours. Leaving is a handover.

See what is costing you customers before you spend anything.

A senior engineer walks your site, your search presence and the way enquiries reach you, then writes down the three things worth fixing first.

  1. 01You tell us what is not working
  2. 02We review the site, the search presence and the enquiry path
  3. 03You get the three fixes worth doing, and what each is worth
