Locksmithing is the purest emergency trade there is. Somebody locked out will call the first three numbers a search returns and go with whoever answers and gives a time, and nothing on a website changes that except being found and being answerable.

The trade also has a trust problem it did not create: national call-centre operations that quote low and charge high have made customers suspicious of every locksmith, so a real local address and a real price range do more work than any other content.

The search side is not separate from that. Emergency lockout searches with a town, at every hour, plus lock change and security upgrade searches on a calmer cycle. Ranking for those means the pages exist, the business is verified where it operates, and the reviews are real and recent.

How a call-out moves through a locksmith

The whole sale happens on one phone call, so every step around it has to be quick.

  1. Locked-out search

A customer outside their door calls the first three numbers, so yours must ring through at any hour.

  2. Price and time given

Customers hang up on vague answers, so a call-out range and a real arrival time are given on the call.

  3. Job done at the door

Locks and parts used are forgotten by the next job, so they are recorded on the phone before leaving.

  4. Paid and reviewed

Cash-only loses customers without a wallet, so card payment is taken and a review request follows.

What people in this trade ask us

Does anything beat being first to answer?
No. Everything else on the site exists to get the phone to ring; the call itself is the whole conversion.
Should we publish prices?
A call-out range, yes. It is the single strongest differentiator against the call-centre operations customers have been burned by.
Do reviews matter here?
More than in almost any trade, because the default assumption about locksmiths is bad. Recent reviews with names are the fix.
Can we take card payment at the door?
Yes, by card reader or a payment link to the customer's phone. Someone locked out often has their phone and nothing else.
Should we keep records of keys we cut?
Yes, and protect them carefully. A record of who holds which key for which address is useful for repeat work and dangerous if it leaks.

The infrastructure under it

Managed by the engineers who build the software, on the same contract and the same bill.

Web Hosting

The page must load in a moment on a phone outside a locked door, or the next locksmith gets the call.

Cyber Security

Customer addresses tied to lock types and key records are exactly what a burglar would want.

What one contract covers

  • One contract. The build, the infrastructure and the work that brings people to it, on one invoice.
  • A named team. The person on the first call stays on the project. No account managers, no handoffs.
  • Operated, not delivered. We keep it running after launch: patching, backups, monitoring and the phone when it breaks.
  • European hosting. Servers in Europe, run by us, with the data staying where you expect it to.
  • Monthly reporting. What changed, what it cost and what it produced, in language you can forward to a board.
  • No lock-in. The code, the domains and the accounts are yours. Leaving is a handover.

See what is costing you customers before you spend anything.

A senior engineer walks your site, your search presence and the way enquiries reach you, then writes down the three things worth fixing first.

  1. 01You tell us what is not working
  2. 02We review the site, the search presence and the enquiry path
  3. 03You get the three fixes worth doing, and what each is worth
