Print quoting is a specification problem. Size, stock, quantity, finishing and delivery all move the price, and a customer emailing please quote for some leaflets has given you none of it, so every enquiry begins with an exchange that costs a day.

Artwork is the second delay. Files arrive in the wrong format, at the wrong resolution, without bleed, and the back and forth to fix them is unbilled work that lands on the same person every time.

The search side is not separate from that. Product searches such as business cards, banners or vehicle graphics, plus a town, from buyers comparing three quotes. Ranking for those means the pages exist, the business is verified where it operates, and the reviews are real and recent.

How a job moves through a print shop

The press is fast; the hours go on everything around it.

  1. Specification and quote

It stalls when the customer asks for some leaflets and nothing else, and it moves when a form captures size, stock, quantity and finish.

  2. Artwork received

It stalls when files arrive without bleed or at low resolution, and it moves when they are checked at upload.

  3. Proof approved

It stalls when proofs go back and forth by email with no record of sign-off, and it moves when approval is one click and logged.

  4. Printed and delivered

It stalls when the customer calls to ask if it is ready, and it moves when they are told at despatch with tracking.

What people in this trade ask us

Should standard products be buyable online?
Yes. Business cards and standard formats do not need a human quote, and every one you automate is margin recovered.
Can artwork be validated automatically?
The mechanical parts, yes: format, resolution, bleed and colour space. Design judgement stays with a person.
How fast does a quote need to be?
Same day for anything standard. Print buyers ask three suppliers and the third quote usually arrives after the decision.
Can repeat customers reorder a past job?
Yes, from their account with the same specification and artwork, changing only the quantity. It is the easiest order you will ever take.
Can we take payment before the job goes to press?
For new and walk-in customers, yes, as part of approving the proof. Trade accounts can stay on terms, set per customer.

The infrastructure under it

Managed by the engineers who build the software, on the same contract and the same bill.

Cloud Servers

Artwork files are large and arrive all day, and upload and preflight need servers that do not choke on them.

Backup & Recovery

Approved artwork is kept for reprints, sometimes years later, and losing it means asking the customer to start again.

What one contract covers

  • One contract. The build, the infrastructure and the work that brings people to it, on one invoice.
  • A named team. The person on the first call stays on the project. No account managers, no handoffs.
  • Operated, not delivered. We keep it running after launch: patching, backups, monitoring and the phone when it breaks.
  • European hosting. Servers in Europe, run by us, with the data staying where you expect it to.
  • Monthly reporting. What changed, what it cost and what it produced, in language you can forward to a board.
  • No lock-in. The code, the domains and the accounts are yours. Leaving is a handover.

See what is costing you customers before you spend anything.

A senior engineer walks your site, your search presence and the way enquiries reach you, then writes down the three things worth fixing first.

  1. 01You tell us what is not working
  2. 02We review the site, the search presence and the enquiry path
  3. 03You get the three fixes worth doing, and what each is worth
