About this service

For a business whose current site is ten years old or does not exist. Structure agreed first, copy written before design, built on a platform your team can edit, launched with tracking and search basics already in place rather than added later.

Structure, then words, then design

Most website projects go wrong in the same order: a design is approved, then copy is written to fit it, then the copy does not fit and the design is compromised. We invert it. The page plan is agreed first, the copy is written second, and the design is drawn around real words rather than around placeholder text.

That is also why the review sessions are few and short. Three decisions, each made once, beats eleven rounds of adjusting something that was structurally wrong from the start.

  • A page plan built around what buyers ask, not around your org chart
  • Copy for every page, written before anything is designed
  • Built mobile first and checked at 320px before anywhere else
  • Analytics, search console and conversion tracking live at launch
  • A handover session and documentation, so your team can edit it

What you own afterwards

Everything. Code, content, domain and hosting in your name, and a handover written on the assumption that you might work with somebody else next. A site built to make leaving expensive is a site built against you.

The platform is chosen for who maintains it rather than for what we prefer to build in. Usually that means WordPress; where the site is mostly static and speed matters, a modern framework build is faster and cheaper to host.

What you get

Everything below is in the price. Nothing here is an upgrade.

  • Site structure and page plan
  • Copy for every page
  • Design and build, responsive from 320px up
  • Analytics, search console and conversion tracking
  • Handover session and editing documentation

What changes

  • A site your team can update without calling anybody
  • Pages structured around what buyers ask, not around your org chart
  • Fast and accessible from the first day rather than after a fix round
  • Analytics, search console and tracking live at launch

How it runs

  1. Structure

The page plan, agreed before anything is written or drawn.

  2. Write

Copy first, because designing around real words is the only way it fits.

  3. Build

Mobile first, on a platform your team can actually edit.

  4. Launch

With tracking, redirects and search basics already working.

Questions

Which platform do you build on?

Whatever your team can maintain. That is usually WordPress; where the site is mostly static and speed matters, a modern framework build is faster and cheaper to host.

Do we own it?

Entirely. Code, content, domain and hosting are in your name, and the handover assumes you might work with somebody else next.

What about hosting?

Ours if you want it, yours if you have it. Either way the site is not built in a way that ties it to us.

Get it scoped

The work is not the same size twice, so it is scoped before it is priced. The scoping call costs nothing.
