About this service
Clients still print, fill in by hand and scan forms that could be completed on screen. We rebuild your forms as fillable PDFs with properly named fields, checkboxes, dropdowns, date formats, automatic totals and signature fields. They work in Adobe Acrobat Reader and most browser PDF viewers, and the data can be exported.
Why most fillable PDFs frustrate people
Many forms advertised as fillable are just text boxes dropped onto a scanned page. The boxes are too small for the answer, the tab key jumps randomly around the page, dates can be typed in any format and totals still have to be worked out by hand. People give up and print it.
We start with the form itself. If questions are confusing or there is not enough room, we rebuild the layout cleanly before adding fields. Then each field gets the right type and format: dates as dates, amounts as currency, checkboxes where there are choices, and a tab order that follows the questions.
Fillable is not the same as working everywhere
PDF viewers vary. Adobe Acrobat Reader supports calculations, validation and scripts. Browser viewers in Chrome and Edge support most fields but may skip some scripts. Apple Preview and some mobile apps handle the basics only. A form that works perfectly in one can misbehave in another.
We test every form in Acrobat Reader, the main browsers and Preview, and tell you which features depend on Acrobat. If most of your users are on phones, or you need the data to land straight in a database, we will suggest a web form instead.
Field names matter after the form is filled in. With consistent names, Acrobat can collect hundreds of returned forms into one spreadsheet, rather than someone retyping each one.

Questions
Will they work on phones?
Most mobile PDF apps support basic fields; complex calculations work best in Acrobat Reader. If most users are on phones, a web form may be the better answer, and we will say so.
Are the signature fields legally binding?
The field collects a drawn or typed signature. Whether that satisfies a legal requirement in your case is a question for your lawyer; for regulated signing, an e-signature service is safer.
Can the data go into a spreadsheet?
Yes. Consistent field names let Acrobat export responses from many forms into one spreadsheet.
