About this service

Automated flows are the emails that run without anyone pressing send: a welcome series when someone signs up, a reminder when a cart is left, a follow-up after a purchase, a nudge when a customer goes quiet. We map the triggers and exit rules, write and design every email, build the flows in your platform and test each path with real data.

The flows that earn most, and the rules that keep them safe

Most of the revenue from automated email comes from a few flows triggered by clear intent: a new signup, an abandoned cart, a first purchase. These emails arrive when the reader is already thinking about you, which is why they usually earn more per send than any newsletter.

The most common mistakes are in the rules, not the copy. A customer completes their purchase on a different device and still gets three cart reminders. Someone who unsubscribed from marketing still receives a win-back. A welcome series and a cart reminder fire on the same afternoon. We set exit conditions and filters on every flow, then run test profiles through each path before switching anything on.

  • Exit the cart flow the moment an order is placed
  • Suppress marketing flows for anyone with an open support ticket, where the platform allows it
  • Hold the post-purchase series until the order has been delivered, not just shipped
  • Prevent two flows from sending to the same person on the same day

Discounts: the decision you should make on purpose

A discount in the first abandoned cart email lifts recovery in the short term. It also teaches regular customers that leaving a cart earns a code, and some of them will do it every time. Over a year, that can cost more than the extra recoveries brought in.

We offer three approaches and set out the trade-off. No discount, with reassurance about delivery and returns instead. A discount only in the last email of the series. Or a discount only for first-time buyers. You choose based on your margin, and the flow is built to match.

Questions

Should the welcome email include a discount?

It depends on your margin and price. A discount raises first orders, but it also teaches people to wait for one. We set it out as a decision with you, rather than adding ten percent off by default.

Which platforms do you build in?

Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Brevo, ActiveCampaign, Omnisend and others with automation features. Klaviyo and Omnisend have the deepest shop connections for e-commerce.

How soon do flows pay off?

Abandoned cart and welcome flows usually earn from their first week. Win-back and post-purchase need a few months of customers passing through before the numbers are meaningful.
