About this service
Mockups let you show a product that does not exist yet, or show an existing one in settings you cannot photograph. We create realistic images of packaging, devices, apparel, print or merchandise from your artwork, with accurate lighting, shadows and materials. They are good enough for a crowdfunding page, a pitch deck or a pre-launch shop listing.
When a mockup is the right tool
Mockups earn their place before a product exists or when photography is impractical. A crowdfunding campaign needs images months before the first unit ships. A pitch deck needs to show packaging that is still being designed. A merchandise range needs to be seen on fifteen colours of shirt without printing fifteen shirts.
They are less suitable once the real product is available. Shoppers have become good at spotting mockups, and a real photo of a real product builds more trust. Where a mockup shows something not yet manufactured, we recommend saying so on the page, both because it is honest and because consumer protection rules expect it.
What makes a mockup look real
The difference between a convincing mockup and an obvious one is in small physical details. Artwork that curves correctly round a bottle. Light catching the edge of a box. A shadow that matches the light source. A slight sheen on gloss and none on matte. Cheap templates skip these, which is why many mockups look like stickers on a photo.
We build from your exact dimensions and artwork, adjust lighting and materials until the image holds up at full size, and check it next to a real product photo where one exists. For unusual shapes that no template fits, we build a custom 3D model, which also lets us render any angle or setting you need later.

Questions
Can we use mockups instead of product photos?
For pre-launch and presentations, yes. Once the product exists, real photos build more trust. If a mockup shows a product not yet made, say so to buyers.
Do you use stock templates?
In the smaller packages, we use licensed photographic templates where they fit your product. Unusual shapes get a custom 3D model.
What about apparel and merchandise?
Yes. T-shirts, bags, mugs, caps and most common merchandise items are covered.
