About this service

A menu is the one piece of marketing every customer reads in full. We design it so guests can find what they want, see the dishes you most want to sell, and read it in dim light. We deliver print-ready files, a version for your website and, where you need one, a QR menu that is easy to update.

Where guests look, and what you put there

Guests do not read a menu in order. They scan it, looking for categories and a few dishes that catch the eye, and often decide within a couple of minutes. Where their eyes land first, and what is placed there, has a real effect on what gets ordered.

We look at your dishes and margins first. Signature dishes and high-margin items get the places guests notice: the top of a section, a box or a small illustration, but sparingly, because highlighting everything highlights nothing. Prices sit after the description rather than in a column down the right, where guests tend to scan for the cheapest option.

Fewer choices, clearer decisions

Long menus slow ordering, increase waste in the kitchen and leave guests unsure they chose well. Many successful restaurants keep each section to a handful of items. We cannot cut your menu for you, but we can show where it is longer than it needs to be and help structure it so it feels easier to choose from.

Practical details matter in the room. Type has to be readable in dim light by guests who left their glasses at home. Paper has to survive spills, or the menu needs to be cheap enough to reprint. Allergen information must be clear and accurate. And if prices change often, a template you can update yourself saves a designer's invoice every time.

Questions

Do you write menu descriptions?

We can tighten your descriptions for length and clarity. Fully rewritten dish copy is available as an add-on.

Should we show prices with currency signs?

Usually not. Plain numbers without currency signs or trailing zeros draw less attention to price. It is your choice, and both work.

Do you handle allergen labelling?

We lay out the allergen information you supply clearly. Its accuracy and legal completeness remain your responsibility.
