About this service

Email HTML is stuck in the past: tables, inline styles and quirks that differ between every client. Why emails break in Outlook

Outlook for Windows renders HTML email using an engine built for word processing documents, not web pages. Layouts that look perfect in Gmail and Apple Mail fall apart there: columns collapse, spacing disappears and background images vanish. Many businesses still have a large share of recipients on it, especially in B2B.

We code templates with the old, reliable techniques email still needs: nested tables, inline styles and Outlook-specific fallbacks. Modern touches such as rounded corners or web fonts are added in ways that degrade gracefully, so Outlook users see a clean simpler version rather than a broken one.

Dark mode and accessibility

Dark mode is handled differently by every email client. Some invert all colours, some only change the background, some leave everything alone. A black logo on a transparent background can disappear completely, and dark text can end up on a dark background.
