About this service
If your website already works well on phones, it can become an app faster than building one from scratch. We package it with Capacitor or as a progressive web app, add the native features that make an app worth installing — push notifications, offline pages, camera access, home screen icon — and take it through App Store and Google Play review.
A website in a frame is not enough
Apple's App Store guidelines say an app must offer more than a repackaged website. Submissions that simply load a site in a frame are often rejected for minimum functionality. Google Play is more lenient but still expects a reasonable app experience.
We check your site and plans against these rules before building. Then we add the native features that make the app worth installing: push notifications for order updates or new content, offline pages, biometric login, camera or location access where useful, and app-only navigation that feels native rather than like a browser.
One codebase, two stores
The main advantage of this approach is maintenance. Your website remains the core of the app, so most changes to content and features reach app users without a store update. That keeps running costs far lower than a separate native app.
There are trade-offs. Performance depends on how well your website works on mobile. Complex animations and heavy pages will feel slower than a native app. If the mobile site is slow, we recommend fixing that first, because the app will inherit the problem.
A progressive web app is the lightest option. It can be installed from the browser to the home screen, works offline and can send notifications on many devices, without any store review at all.

Questions
Will Apple accept a wrapped website?
Not if it is only the website in a frame. Apple's guidelines require apps to offer more than a repackaged site. Adding native features and app-specific value is what gets them approved.
Do we have to update the app separately?
Content and most features update with the website. Native features and store details need an app update occasionally.
Does this work for Shopify or WordPress sites?
Yes, as long as the site works well on mobile. Store apps for Shopify can also use dedicated app builders; we compare the options.
