About this service

We combine and fix shots so they look as if they were filmed that way. That includes replacing phone and monitor screens, removing objects, rigs or logos, swapping skies, adding signage or graphics into a scene with tracking, and cleaning up blemishes. The test is simple: a viewer should not notice anything was done.

Invisible work is the goal

Most visual effects work in business video should go unnoticed. A phone screen showing your app instead of a reflection. A competitor's logo removed from a background shop. A grey sky replaced with the clear one the shoot day should have had. A microphone dipping into frame painted out. When it is done well, nobody watching knows anything happened.

What gives compositing away is mismatch. An added element that is sharper than the footage around it, has no film grain where the rest does, or slides slightly as the camera moves. We track camera and surface movement precisely, match blur, grain, colour and light direction, and review every shot at full screen before it goes back to you.

What makes a shot quick or slow

The cost of a VFX shot depends far more on the footage than on the effect. Replacing a screen on a tripod shot with a steady phone is quick. Replacing it on a handheld shot where fingers move across the screen and reflections shift is much slower. Removing an object from a static background takes minutes; removing it from behind a moving person can take days.

That is why we assess each shot before confirming time. Where you have not filmed yet, a short conversation can save a lot: tracking markers on screens, a clean background plate shot with nobody in frame, and locked-off camera positions where effects are planned.

Questions

Can you remove anything from a shot?

Most things, with time. Small static objects are quick. Large objects passing in front of a moving subject can take days per shot.

Do you work on drone or phone footage?

Yes. Heavily compressed footage limits how clean the result can be, so the original files always help.

Can you advise before we film?

Yes, and it saves money. Tracking markers, clean background plates and locked-off shots make compositing much faster.
