About this service
We look after the servers your websites and applications run on. Security updates are applied on a schedule, services are monitored with alerts, backups are run and tested by restoring them, and access is locked down. Every month you get a short report: what was patched, what alerted, what we changed and what needs a decision.
Backups nobody has restored are not backups
Almost every server we take over has backups configured. Fewer have backups that have ever been restored. The job runs every night, the dashboard shows green, and nobody notices that the database dump has been empty for three months, or that the backup lives on the same server it is meant to protect.
We test backups by restoring them to a separate environment on a schedule and checking that the site or application actually works from the restored copy. Backups are stored off the server, and the retention is agreed with you. When something does go wrong, the question is not whether a backup exists but how quickly we can bring the service back, and we know the answer because we have practised.
Patching on a schedule, not when someone remembers
Unpatched servers are the easiest target on the internet. Automated scans look for known weaknesses within hours of their being published. Yet servers often go months without updates because nobody owns the job, or because updating once broke something and everyone has been nervous since.
We patch on a fixed schedule inside an agreed maintenance window, check that services come back afterwards, and plan reboots for kernel updates. Critical security fixes are applied faster. Monitoring watches uptime, disk space, memory, failed logins and certificate expiry, so problems are caught before they become outages. The monthly report lists exactly what was done.

Questions
Which systems do you support?
Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky and AlmaLinux, with Nginx, Apache, Docker, PostgreSQL, MySQL and the usual web stacks. Windows Server on request.
Does this include hosting costs?
No. Servers stay in your account with your provider. We manage them; you pay the provider directly.
What if something breaks at night?
In the largest package, alerts are answered within an hour every day. In the smaller ones, out-of-hours incidents are handled the next working morning unless you add emergency cover.
