Cloud accounts grow untidy fast: test servers left running, storage nobody uses, permissions given to former staff, bills that rise every month without anyone knowing why. We take over day-to-day management of your cloud account, set budgets and alerts, tighten access, remove waste and report monthly on cost and security.
Where cloud bills quietly grow
Cloud costs rarely jump in one go. They creep. A test server is started for a week and forgotten. Snapshots pile up. A database is sized for a launch spike and never scaled back. Data transfer between regions adds a line nobody understands. Storage keeps every log file forever. Each item is small, and together they can make up a large share of the bill.
We go through the account resource by resource and line by line. Unused resources are removed with your approval. Oversized servers and databases are resized to their actual use. Storage gets lifecycle rules so old data moves to cheaper tiers or is deleted. Budgets and alerts are set so a sudden rise is caught within a day rather than at the end of the month.
Access is the biggest security risk
Most cloud security incidents in small businesses come not from sophisticated attacks but from access that should not exist. A former developer still has admin rights. The root account has no multi-factor sign-in. An access key was committed to a code repository years ago and still works. Storage buckets were made public for a quick test and left that way.
We review every user, role and key, remove what is no longer needed and apply the principle of least access: people and services get only the permissions their job requires. The root account is locked down. Security checks run continuously and the monthly report lists anything new that needs attention.
