About this service

Mixed icons from three free packs make a product or website look assembled. We design a consistent set on a shared grid, with the same stroke, corner radius and level of detail throughout, delivered as SVGs and an icon font or component library your developers can use directly. App icons are available too.

Why mixed icon sets look cheap

Most products start with a free icon library and then hit a concept it does not cover. Someone finds the missing icon in a different set, with a slightly thicker stroke, rounder corners or a different perspective. Repeat a dozen times and the interface looks assembled from parts, even if nobody can say exactly why.

A custom set solves this with rules. Every icon sits on the same grid, uses the same stroke width, the same corner radius and the same level of detail. Once those rules are set, new icons can be added years later and still match.

Drawn for 16 pixels, not for the presentation

Icons are often designed large and admired large, then shipped at 16 or 24 pixels where detail turns to blur. A delicate line drawing of a building becomes a grey smudge in a navigation bar. Some concepts also turn out to be ambiguous when shrunk.

We check every icon at its real size inside screenshots of your interface. Where an icon is used at very different sizes, the largest package includes separately tuned versions for small and large use.

Developers receive clean, optimised SVGs with consistent names, plus a Figma component library for designers. That keeps the icons consistent between design files and the live product.

  • Shared grid, stroke weight and corner style
  • Checked at actual size in your interface
  • Optimised SVGs with predictable file names
  • Figma components for your design team

Questions

Why not use a free icon library?

Free libraries are fine when they cover everything you need. Problems start when they do not, and you mix sets. A custom set also makes the product recognisably yours.

Can you match an existing library?

Yes. If you already use a library and need extra icons in the same style, we draw them to its grid and stroke.

Can icons be animated?

Yes, as Lottie files for web and apps. That is the Lottie web animation service.
