Whiteboard animation works because viewers watch the picture appear as the narrator explains it. Each drawing arrives with its sentence, which creates a natural rhythm and keeps attention on one thing at a time. It is particularly effective for processes, cause and effect, and before-and-after stories.
It is not the right style for everything. For lifestyle brands, product launches or anything emotional, it can feel too simple. We will tell you if another style would serve your message better.

Many cheap whiteboard videos use the same library of stock drawings: the same businessman, the same light bulb, the same globe. Viewers have seen them many times, and the video feels generic within seconds.
