About this service

Your best articles reach more people as video, but a video is not an article read aloud. We pull out the key points, write a short script for viewing, pair each point with footage, motion graphics or your own images, add captions and voice-over, and cut versions for each platform.

A video is not an article read aloud

The quickest way to turn an article into a video is to put the text on screen with stock footage behind it. The result is long, slow and indistinguishable from thousands of others. Viewers scroll past in the first two seconds because nothing in the opening tells them why to stay.

We rewrite for viewing. The strongest point or the most surprising fact goes first. Each scene carries one idea in a short line. Visuals show what is being said: a chart for a number, a screen for a process, your own photos for a case. Anything that does not survive that treatment stays in the article, and the video sends interested viewers there.

One article, several formats

Each platform rewards something different. A vertical video for Reels, TikTok or Shorts needs to grab attention instantly and finish under a minute. A square or landscape version for LinkedIn can run a little longer and take a more measured tone. A YouTube version can go deeper and run for two minutes or more.

We plan the cut-downs from the start rather than cropping one video into different shapes, which tends to cut off text and faces. The largest package also builds a reusable template, so later articles become videos faster and look like part of one series.

What you get

Everything below is in the price. Nothing here is an upgrade.

  • Video script approved before production
  • Finished video with captions
  • Voice-over or text-only version
  • Exports in vertical, square and landscape

What changes

  • A script written for viewing, cut to the points that carry the article
  • Visuals that show each point rather than decorating it
  • Captions so the video works with sound off
  • Versions sized for each platform, with a link back to the full article

Questions

Can the video include the whole article?

It should not. A good video takes the strongest few points and sends viewers to the article for the rest.

Whose voice is on the voice-over?

A professional voice artist you choose from samples, or your own recording if you prefer a personal touch.

Do you use stock footage?

Licensed stock where it fits, motion graphics where stock would look generic, and your own images wherever possible.
