About this service
Some things cannot be filmed: the inside of a machine, a molecule, a process happening under the ground or a product not yet manufactured. We script the story, model and animate it in 3D, and add voice-over and sound, so complex technology becomes clear in a minute or two.
Showing what cannot be filmed
Some products and processes are impossible to film usefully. The interesting part is hidden inside a casing, happens too fast or too slowly, is microscopic, or exists only as a design. A camera can show the outside of a pump; it cannot show the fluid moving through it.
3D animation can. We can cut away a housing, slow down a process, zoom inside a component or show a product that has not been manufactured yet. For technical sales, that often makes the difference between a buyer understanding the product and simply nodding along.
Accuracy starts with your engineers
A beautiful 3D animation that shows the mechanism wrongly is worse than none, especially if the audience includes engineers. Small errors, such as parts moving in the wrong direction or an incorrect sequence, damage credibility instantly.
We work from your CAD files where possible and check the storyboard and key animations with your technical team before final rendering. Corrections at the storyboard stage cost minutes; corrections after rendering cost days.
The script stays focused on one main idea. It is tempting to show every feature because the models exist, but viewers remember one clear story far better than a tour of everything.

They save time and improve accuracy. Without them, we model from drawings and photos, which takes longer.
Why is 3D slower than 2D?
Every object must be modelled, textured, lit and rendered. Rendering alone can take days for longer videos.
