About this service
Your experts know things your competitors' marketing teams do not, and they have no time to write. We interview them, find the argument worth making, and ghostwrite an article under their name for a trade publication, LinkedIn or your own site. They review it; it goes out with their byline.
An opinion is the price of being published
Trade editors receive many submissions every week that summarise a trend everybody already knows about. They reject almost all of them. What they look for is a practitioner willing to argue something specific, with examples from their own work, that their readers may disagree with.
Most of our interview time is spent finding that argument. We ask your expert what the industry gets wrong, what they changed their mind about, and which common advice they ignore. One of those answers usually becomes the article, and it is rarely the topic the marketing plan suggested.
Ghostwritten, but never misattributed
Ghostwriting works when the byline is honest about whose thinking it is. The ideas, examples and judgements in each article come from your expert's interview. We provide the structure, the sentences and the edit, the same way a good editor at a newspaper does.
Your expert reviews every draft before it leaves, and they are expected to change things. An expert who signs off without reading is the one who gets an awkward question at a conference about a claim they never made. We would rather lose a day to their corrections than publish something they cannot defend.
We also respect publication rules. Some trade titles require disclosure of commercial interests or forbid product mentions in bylined pieces. We write to those rules, which keeps the door open for the next submission.

Questions
Can you guarantee publication in a trade magazine?
No. Editors decide, and the good ones cannot be bought. If a piece is turned down, it still runs on your site or LinkedIn.
Will it sound like our expert?
We write from their interview, keep their phrases and examples, and they edit the draft. It should read like them on a good day.
Do you need to know our industry?
We need to understand the argument well enough to make it clearly. The expertise is your expert's; the structure and the sentences are ours.
