About this service
An infographic works when it makes one point faster than a paragraph could. We start by finding that point in your data or process, cut everything that does not support it, then design the graphic in your brand. You get it in sizes for web, social and print, with the source file to edit.
One point, made fast
Most infographics fail by trying to say everything. A report has forty findings, so the infographic gets forty icons, twelve numbers and a timeline, and the reader leaves remembering none of it. The format works when a reader grasps the main point in about five seconds and then chooses to read the detail.
So we start by finding that point. What is the one thing a reader should take away? Everything else is either supporting evidence for it or belongs somewhere else. Cutting is the hardest part of the job and the part that makes the result work.
Choosing the chart before the colours
Decorative charts mislead. A pie chart with eight slices is hard to read. A 3D bar exaggerates differences. Pictograms where one icon equals 1,000 people work for rough scale and fail for precise comparison. The right chart depends on what the numbers are being asked to show: change over time, parts of a whole, a ranking or a comparison.
We pick the chart for the job first, then style it in your brand. Every number on the graphic is traced to a source you provided, and the source line appears on the graphic itself, because a well-designed figure without a source looks like marketing.
- Change over time: line or column charts
- Parts of a whole: a single stacked bar, or a pie with three or four slices at most
- Ranking: horizontal bars, sorted
- A process: numbered steps with one idea each

Questions
Can you find the data for us?
We design from data you supply. If you need research done first, we can quote it separately, and every figure will carry its source.
Will it work on a phone?
Long infographics are designed to scroll on a phone. For social, we cut separate square or portrait versions rather than shrinking the full graphic.
Do infographics still earn links?
Good ones built on original data still get picked up. Generic ones built on widely available statistics rarely do.
