About this service
You have an app, perhaps built by a previous developer or bought as a template, and it needs changes: rebranding, new screens, a payment method, a fix to how something works. We review the code first, tell you honestly what state it is in, make the changes and get the update through store review.
Inheriting an app you did not build
Many businesses come to us with an app built by a developer who has moved on, or bought as a template from a marketplace. The code may be tidy or a tangle. Libraries may be years out of date. The build may only work on the previous developer's laptop. Nobody knows until someone looks.
That is why every job starts with a code review. We check whether the app builds, how old its dependencies are, how the code is organised and whether there are obvious security problems. You get a plain summary before we quote the changes. Occasionally the honest answer is that changing the app will cost more than rebuilding it, and you should know that before spending money.
Store requirements move, even when your app does not
Apple and Google raise their minimum requirements regularly: new SDK versions, new privacy declarations, new rules about account deletion or tracking permissions. An app that has not been touched for a year or two may be blocked from updating until it catches up, even if the change you want is a single word.
We check these requirements as part of the review and include the necessary updates in the quote. After making changes, we test both the new features and the old ones, because updated libraries sometimes break things that used to work. Then we take the update through both stores' review.

Questions
Which app frameworks do you work with?
Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter and Ionic. For template apps, we need the full source, not only the compiled app.
Our previous developer left. Can you take over?
Usually, yes. The code review tells us whether the app is worth continuing or would be cheaper to rebuild, and we tell you plainly.
Why does a small change need library updates?
Apple and Google raise minimum requirements regularly. An app untouched for a year or two often cannot be submitted until its tools are updated.
