About this service

Extensions put a tool exactly where people work: inside the browser, on the pages they already use. We build extensions for internal teams or public release, using Manifest V3, with the minimum permissions needed so users trust it and store reviewers approve it.

Minimum permissions, maximum trust

When a user installs an extension, the browser shows the permissions it requests. An extension asking to read and change data on all websites raises suspicion, and many users decline. Store reviewers also look harder at broad permissions.

We request only what the extension actually needs, for only the sites it works on. That improves installation rates, speeds up review and reduces risk if anything goes wrong.

Built for Manifest V3

Chrome has moved to Manifest V3, a new extension standard with different rules for background scripts, network requests and remote code. Older Manifest V2 extensions are being phased out across Chromium browsers.

We build new extensions on Manifest V3 and migrate older ones where needed. Some features, such as how network requests are modified, work differently under V3 and require redesign rather than a simple port.

For internal tools, extensions can be deployed privately to your organisation without a public store listing. Public extensions get store listings with clear privacy disclosures.

  • Manifest V3 architecture
  • Permissions limited to what is needed
  • Private deployment or public store listing
  • Privacy disclosures for store review

Questions

What is Manifest V3?

The current standard for Chrome extensions. Older Manifest V2 extensions are being phased out, so new extensions must use V3.

Can you update our old extension?

Yes, including migration from Manifest V2. Some features work differently in V3, and we assess them first.

How long does store review take?

Often a few days, longer for broad permissions. Asking for fewer permissions speeds it up.
