One of the most common problems we untangle is ownership. The domain was registered years ago by a web designer, under their account, with their email. The hosting is on an agency's reseller plan. Business email runs through a login nobody remembers. When that person moves on or the agency closes, the business discovers it does not control its own name online.
The first step in every job is getting accounts into your company's name, with logins your business holds. Where a previous supplier holds the domain, registrars have a transfer process, and if you are the legal owner it can be recovered. Then we document every account, every renewal date and every DNS record in one sheet you keep.
DNS is where email quietly breaks
Moving a website to new hosting usually means changing DNS records. Done carelessly, it is easy to point the website correctly and leave the email records behind, or overwrite them. Mail stops arriving, and it can be days before anyone realises why nobody has replied.
We copy every existing record before changing anything, then rebuild the zone deliberately: website, email, verification records for the tools you use, and the authentication records that tell receiving servers your email is genuine. Changes are timed for quiet hours and checked from several locations as they spread, which can take up to a day.

Are hosting and email costs included?
No. Subscriptions are paid by you to the providers, so the accounts are always yours. We recommend options at different price points.
Will the site go down during migration?
We prepare the new host fully before switching DNS. Most visitors see no interruption. Changes can take a few hours to reach everyone.
