About this service
A blog that has grown for five years usually has a few pieces doing the work and dozens competing for the same searches. We review every article against its traffic and its purpose, decide what happens to each one, and rewrite the ones worth saving. The result is fewer, better pages.
When a blog starts competing with itself
After a few years of regular posting, most blogs contain four or five articles answering nearly the same question, written by different people at different times. Search engines then have to choose which one to show, and often show none of them well. Traffic spreads thin across pages that each deserve to rank and none of which do.
The review finds these clusters by comparing the search terms each page actually appears for, not only their titles. Two articles with different headlines can be fighting for the same phrase, and two with similar headlines can serve different readers. The data decides which pages merge.
Merging is usually the highest-value move in the whole project. The strongest article absorbs the useful parts of the others, the weaker URLs redirect to it, and the links they had earned now point at one page instead of five.
What we keep, and the cost of deleting carelessly
Removing old content is popular advice and dangerous in practice. An article with almost no traffic can still carry links from other sites that support your whole domain, or rank for one phrase that brings in a lead a month. Deleting it without a redirect throws that away silently.
Every verdict in the inventory is backed by three checks: traffic over the last twelve months, inbound links from other sites, and whether the page still describes something you sell. A page fails only when it fails all three, and even then it is redirected rather than left to return an error.
- Keep: earning traffic and still accurate
- Update: earning traffic, but facts, prices or screenshots are stale
- Merge: one of several pages covering the same question
- Rewrite: the right topic, written too thinly to rank
- Remove and redirect: no traffic, no links, no longer relevant

Questions
Will deleting articles hurt our rankings?
Deleting the wrong ones would. Nothing is removed without checking its traffic and inbound links first, and every removal comes with a redirect to the closest surviving page.
Can you rewrite pages our experts wrote?
Yes, and the rewrite goes back to them before it goes live. We tighten the writing; they confirm it is still correct.
How soon will we see a change?
Search engines usually take several weeks to recrawl and reassess rewritten pages. That is why the largest package checks at eight weeks, not at one.
