Is Google Cloud good for web hosting?
Yes. Cloud Run and App Engine make deploying web applications simple. Firebase Hosting is excellent for static sites and SPAs.
How does Firebase relate to Google Cloud?
Firebase is part of Google Cloud, providing backend services (auth, database, storage, hosting) for mobile and web apps. Firebase projects are GCP projects and can use any GCP service.
Is Google Cloud more expensive than AWS?
Pricing is competitive and depends on services used. GCP offers sustained-use discounts automatically and competitive pricing on compute and storage. BigQuery's pay-per-query model can be very cost-effective.
